Motion in the Ocean

If you’re anythng like me, you’ve been spending a lot of time wonding why Hollywood has failed to bring together Lorenzo Lamas and Debbie Gibson under the banner of one film title. This is the Fraser-Ali fight of the cinema world. But with bigger crowds, and more punches. Well, it’s finally happened. And it’s happening on a scale that beggers belief.

These two heavyweights are being brought together to star in what is set to be the biggest release of this or any other century. A title so huge in scale and concept that only the most incalculable of Hollywood budgets could possibly bring it to life. A film for the ages – Giant Shark Versus Mega Octopus is here. Are they serious?? Does it get any better??

No doubt this project has been on the books for some time, waiting only for the right actors, the perfect director, and for technology catch up with the epic vision that underwirtes this amazing film. But GSVMO is not only a fast paced action flick, not by a long shot. It is a poignient and scathing critique on the perils of global warming and how carbon emissions will lead directly to 100 foot sharks leaping from the ocean and snatching jumbo jets from the skies with their mouths. It’s happening people.

Feast your eyes upon the below trailer and see if you can get any sleep between now and the release date as one of the great questions of science and popular culture – who is tougher, a massive shark or a monstorous octopus – is near to being answered. Bring it.
